An exciting program showcasing local talent along with some of Glenroy’s best kept secrets.
The Glenroy Festival is proudly local, showcasing the talent of Moreland’s north while giving a platform to small businesses in the neighbourhood.
The Glenroy Festival is coordinated and presented by Moreland-based not-for-profit organisation Collaborative Cultures and is proudly supported by Moreland City Council.
The Glenroy Festival will take place on Sunday 20 March 2016.
This year’s program will include some old favourites such as:
- Uptown Brown
- Moreland City Band
- Julia the Connie, and
- Simsalabim the Wizard.
Also gracing the stage and surrounds of the festival will be:
- Glenroy’s own Scottish Country Dancers and African Star Drumming
- Anna Paddick and the Spekulators will make the long trip from Coburg
- Beledicious the Belly Dance Experience will race them there from Pascoe Vale
- The 3012, also from Pascoe Vale, the sharpest all girl group north of Gaffney Street.
