Patches to create

Due to Melbourne Lockdown #6 I have had to postpone my workshops. In the new year I will confirm new dates once the restrictions ease to allow us to get together again. Feel free to contact me to let me know your interest in coming along to a particular workshop – it will enable me to make sure I schedule these first.

Workshops are held in my studio in Brunswick and also at Guild of Objects in Fitzroy.

My workshop bookings are now being done through Humanitix which is a great charity with all booking fees going to educate underprivileged children.

Laneway Learning

Intro to Machine Sewing – Monday 25th October 6.15 – 7.30pm

Learn to thread it, how to change the settings and what those buttons mean. Every sewing machine is a little bit different, so we will go through the standard basics. No sewing experience is required! Just the aspiration to learn a new skill and the desire to get to know your sewing machine.  (but if you’ve had a little experience you’re also very welcome)

My Workshops help you to gain new found skills and inspire you to create. If you would like to travel further down the road to sustainable style they offer ideas, inspiration and the skills to assist you. The sessions offer a fantastic creative experience, are value for money and lots of fun. All workshops are designed to suit beginners to advanced crafts people.

The workshops enable you to build your skills and knowledge of mending, embroidery and craft techniques. They offer different themes and skills to create in an enjoyable atmosphere and always include a mixture of hands on skills with informative instruction. I look to inspire people to up-cycle, recycle, reclaim and renew along with offering a great place to meet new people and bring out your creative side. Workshops are limited to 4-12 people depending on the theme. I always follow the current Covid-19 restrictions on number of places in each workshop.

To register your interest in a workshop not currently scheduled please use the contact form.  Or feel free to contact me to arrange a date to suit you or to discuss times and dates convenient to you for groups interested in booking a private workshop. Workshops are held in Brunswick or online.  I also am happy to come to your venue by arrangement.

I also create custom workshops for council and corporate training and events, hens nights or birthday parties working with you to create the perfect event. Please use the contact form to discuss and we can arrange a date and time to suit your schedule.
