In response to the appalling fires in Victoria and throughout Australia I will be donating 50% of workshop fees for February and March to Wildlife Victoria to assist in the care of wildlife harmed and displaced. I will be holding two workshops as part of the Sustainable Living Festival 2020 – Reinvent Your Clothes on 8 February and Visible Mending on 23 February which can be booked below. More information on the Festival or the National Climate Emergency Summit
I will be teaching at Laneway Learning in March and April. The classes will be on Wednesday 18 March – Visible Mending with Metallics at 6.15pm and Needle Felting at 7.45pm. Tuesday 7 April – Slow Stitching at 6.15pm and Visible Mending at 7.45pm. The March classes can be booked now through the links to the Laneway Learning site.
Introduction to Embroidery
I will be teaching my Introduction to Embroidery at CERES in 2020. Saturday 23 May from 10.00 – 4.30. Bookings through the CERES website
The first Repair Cafe for 2020 will be January 25 .
I will be at the Brunswick Tool Library’s Repair Café most months. Held the 4th Saturday each month. It’s located at the rear of 124 Weston Street, Brunswick. Entrance is off St Phillip Street which generally has plenty of free parking.
Arts Muster April 2020 will offer classes in textiles, basketry, printing, book binding, felting, slow fashion, mosaics, leather work, whittling, and more. All classes will be held at Korowal School in Hazelbrook, Blue Mountains NSW.
