The John Fries Award is one of the most coveted awards for emerging contemporary artists across Australia and New Zealand.
The non-aquisitive Art Award is open to all Australian and New Zealand citizens or residents and offers a $10,000 cash prize plus first hand experience working with a curator, industry leading judges and exposure through promotion and a 6 week exhibition at UNSW Galleries at UNSW Art & Design – the award’s presenting partner for the third year running.
There is no entry fee for Copyright Agency | Viscopy members. Membership of Copyright Agency | Viscopy is free. To join, visit www.viscopy.org.au/join-us. Entrants who are not members of Viscopy pay a GST inclusive and non-refundable entry fee of $35AUD.
